The course is to know the essential cycles of assorted refrigerating programs, their efficiency analysis alongside
with particulars of system elements and refrigerant properties. The course can also be geared toward imparting data of
psychrometric properties, processes that are utilized in air-conditioning programs for consolation and industrial
purposes.
UNIT – I
INTRODUCTION TO REFRIGERATION: Necessity and purposes – unit of refrigeration and C.O.P. –
Mechanical refrigeration – varieties of supreme cycles of refrigeration. air refrigeration: bell coleman cycle – open and
